Forecasting migration in the face of climate change, environmental degradation and disasters for better policymaking

Better data and analysis on the nexus between migration, environment, climate change and disasters are crucial to prepare for and operationalise national, regional and global policies. Major gaps in relation to data on the duration and distance of people’s movements as well as governance assessments need to be filled to inform evidence-based policies.
