Carolina Stefoni ist Professorin an der Universidad de Tarapacá in Chile und Forschungsmitarbeiterin am Centro de Estudios de Conflicto y Cohesión Social (COES; Zentrum für Konfliktstudien und Studien zu sozialem Zusammenhalt). Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf gefährdeten Migrantinnen und Migranten, lokaler Steuerung von Ansiedlung und auf venezuelanischer Migration in Chile.
